Embarking on a new voyage!

A long standing grassroots rope manufacturer from Nova Scotia sets sail towards global triumph. Formerly known as Canada Rope & Twine Ltd., the company has recently undergone a significant transformation, encompassing a fresh identity, complete rebranding, a state of the art facility, enhanced capabilities.

The birth of the new identity, CoastLine Cordage Group Ltd., arose from the necessity to eliminate market confusion, while the rebrand positions the manufactuer as a trailblazer in the industry, fostering international commerce. In addition to these visible changes, CoastLine has relocated its operations to a larger site just up the road at Bedford’s Atlantic Acres Business Park. The new premises accommodate eighteen new manufacturing machines, boosting production capacity significantly and leading to the creation of six-eleven new job opportunities. Previously operating at full capacity and having to reject projects, the expansion will increase in production speed and allows them to cater to growing demands from clients both locally and globally.

The rejuvenated corporate image and increased capacity are set to drive growth and explore untapped opportunities. CoastLine recognizes the crucial role of business development partners such as The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), Nova Scotia Business Inc. (NSBI), and Export Development Canada (EDC).
